Abstract
There is a growing concern about the influence of mineral oils on the environment. One potential alternative is the use of "environmentally compatible" oils, commonly called bio-oils. This report summarizes information presented in the contact report entitled "Environmentally Compatible Oils", which discusses the characteristics of bio-oils and reports on the user experience in Europe and in Canada.
