Users of anti-lock braking systems (ABS) have experienced functionality and reliability issues with these systems. In 2013, FPInnovations initiated a study to investigate these issues in the log-hauling environment. In 2015, with assistance from the B.C. Ministry of Transportation and Infrastructure and the B.C. Forest Safety Council, an investigation of ABS faults was conducted with a number of log hauling fleets in B.C. This report summarizes the findings of this recent study and proposes the next steps.
